UNDERTAKER (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Retaining the World Heavyweight Championship, albeit in controversial fashion, earns The Deadman the No. 1 spot. Now he has to concentrate on his next challenger, Rey Mysterio.
CHRISTIAN (PHOTOS | WATCH)
The ECW Champion had a great, yet gruelling, week. After a sensational Ladder Match in which he retained his title, Captain Charisma won a Six-Man Tag Team Match the next night on Raw.
D-GENERATION X: TRIPLE H & SHAWN MICHAELS (PHOTOS | WATCH)
For the first time ever, Shawn Michaels & Triple H are the Unified Tag Team Champions together. Are you ready? We certainly are.
SHEAMUS (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Stunning the entire WWE Universe, The Celtic Warrior defeated John Cena at WWE TLC to become the new WWE Champion. There's no doubt that he deserved winning the Breakout Star of the Year Slammy.
JOHN CENA (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Formerly The Champ, this year's Superstar of the Year is already looking to 2010 as, if he doesn't regain it before then, he intends to fight tooth and nail to become the WWE Champion once again.
Even though he went into his match against Randy Orton showing that he would not be intimidated, the Ghana native came up just short in their match at WWE TLC with Orton barely able to sneak away with the win.
The Legend Killer tried to play mind games before his match at WWE TLC, but judging by how Kingston took him to the limit before he won, Orton must know that the match was a hair's breath from being the loser.
He may be the self-proclaimed "Awesome" One," but his loss on Raw didn't exactly go with the name. The United States Champion needs to step things up a bit if he wants people to believe what he's preaching.
The Chairman Mr. McMahon's hand-picked future champion achieved just that by winning the Intercontinental Title. Saying the Scotland-born Superstar has impressed would be quite the understatement.
Though we don't condone Batista's actions as of late, we can't blame The Animal for being at least a little infuriated after he seemingly had the World Heavyweight Title ripped from his claws at WWE TLC.
|11|| THE LEGACY: CODY RHODES & TED DiBIASE |
They might not have won Tag Team of the Year, but they did pick up an impressive victory over Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne on Monday's three-hour Raw.
Despite losing to John Cena in the first round of the Superstar of the Year tournament, The Straightedge Superstar has had an impressive year, and 2010 looks to be just as promising.
MONTEL VONTAVIOUS PORTER & MARK HENRY
Both MVP & The World's Strongest Man had a good week with MVP beating Jack Swagger on "WWE Superstars" and Henry won in six-man tag action on Raw.
The Friday Night Delight can't be too delighted with the outcome of this week, not only did he lose the Intercontinental Title at WWE TLC, but Morrison also lost on SmackDown as well.
CHRIS JERICHO & BIG SHOW
Jeri-Show may have won tag team of the year, but thanks to D-Generation X, they are no longer the Unified Tag Team Champions and Jericho was embarrassed by being tossed out of the building on Raw.
The Master of the 619 is now the master of his own destiny after becoming the No. 1 contender to the World Heavyweight Title on SmackDown. What will happen when The Ultimate Underdog faces The Phenom?
It seems as though "The All-American American" has lost a lot of steam in recent weeks. Swagger needs to rev-up those engines and start impressing us again if he wants to move back up the list.
The arrogant, blonde Superstar lost on "WWE Superstars" alongside Mike Knox in tag team action against Cryme Tyme. Like Swagger, Ziggler needs to regain his momentum or things aren't looking good.
With three wins this week, including one advancing him toward a possible ECW Championship Match, The Big Red Monster is looking as dominant as ever, and that should make his opponents nervous.
Unfortunately for Benjamin, The Gold Standard couldn't capitalize on his ECW Championship opportunity. At WWE TLC, he lost a brutal Ladder Match against Christian after falling through a ladder.
It would have been nice to beat Michelle McCool for the Women's Title, while also putting an end to the constant teasing, but things weren't meant to be as Mickie just barely lost championship match.
With the Slammys going on Monday night, the Divas Champion may not have gotten a gold statue, but she did get a Seven-Diva Tag Team Match win alongside several of her fellow Divas.
Though Layla's distraction may have backfired, the Women's Champion was able to still walk away with the win, and her title, after a brutal back and forth match against Mickie James.
HART DYNASTY: SMITH, KIDD, NATALYA
Despite a win, The Hart Dynasty unfortunately drops one spot this week. There's no doubt in our minds that this impressive young trio will be headed the other way up this list soon.
Formerly known as Festus, Gallows has become a dominant Superstar on SmackDown behind the teaching of CM Punk. We wouldn't want to fight the former "Corn-fed Colossus," that's for sure.
